What to do?

I'm nearing the end of another semester (just about a month) and nearing the end of library school (maybe another semester, maybe two, no more than three - that's counting the summer session, so no more than a year). I had originally planned on adding an information management certification to my degree, but now I'm thinking about dropping it. If ( Read more... )

I have had teachers like that, so I know what you mean. Granted, I generally self-teach, so the teacher's lack of focus doesn't bother me, but there was a class of two in undergrad that I basically ended up teaching because the prof couldn't explain his way out of a wet paper sack. So, here's hoping you are able to finish and possibly rip her to shreds.

That sucks. I actually vote for an email or letter to the department chair now, listing all the problems and pointing out the grade requirements and the lack of feedback. They might be able to tell the instructor to suck it up and do her job. But if not, you've at least said there's a problem before the evaluation.

That's tough. If you can hold out, it seems staying in that horrid class would be the best course. Stay after class to see if she can give you some idea how you will fare.

Some people should not teach.
