So, I have a complete draft of my Big Bang and done a grammar and spelling edit, but my friendslist is short on folks with the canon knowledge to do a beta read. Other than making minor edits when I come up with something that contradicts it in my subsequent sequels and prequels I've pretty much been sitting on my fic for this challenge for a week. Tips for writing NC-17 scenes?

I can't get started
I'm writing a Life on Mars/Sherlock crossover, where Sherlock is given Sam's case to determine what really happened. I have it plotted out to the most part, and I'm all excited, but my muse just won't get in gear... Anyone got any advice/ideas/ways to get me to work? D: -
