Christmas time again...
I hate this time of year. From Halloween to spring. The blues would be welcome. I go through much worse than the blues. This time of year has always meant doom, gloom, and despair for me. I'm surprised...
With all the dreck and unoriginal crap being flushed out of Hollywood these past few years, how come no one's proposed a real remake of The Wizard of Oz? No, I don't count The Wiz since that was an original adaptation for a time period and style of music. -
it's been a while... just over 2 years...
I'm sick of winter. I need sunshine and warmth. I am depressed and struggling daily because of it. I'll survive though. The ice age has to end soon.

End of life
At hospital checking on my mother. She is a stage 4 altzeimers patient with failed kidneys, heart problems and now a bladder/kidney infection. At this point, its a race to see which will take her first, and we're just taking things day by day. If she recovers from the uti, hospice care is the likely next step.

Sharkskitten update
Well its been quite a go round. She feels well enough to take her own medication, but is still having difficulties getting around. Still dizzy at time and tired much of the time. She has taken visitors, family and friends, but it takes a lot out of her. Now that the worst part and danger associated with her head injury have been controlled, she' ( Read more... ) -
morning update
Well its a good morning! Kay has been up since 7 is on her second cup of coffee and ate half a fiber 1 bar. The staple line is her most painful right now and that's at a manegable level but still giving the percocet for it to keep the overall pain level even.
