In other news, I just finished purchasing a new motorcycle helmet, jacket, pants and gloves. The pants will come in the mail Tuesday-ish, everything else I already have as I priced it online, then went down to Lee's and bargained with them for the same deal. Sweeeeeet! :D

I've got the same helmet model (different paint scheme) and the same gloves. The helmet is one of the best around for the price and the vents work well. Also it comes with a visor protector to reduce fogging at low speeds and a chin draft protector for cold weather or night riding. I really love it.

The gloves are a very snug fit for my hands even on the recommended sizing charts. They do protect extremely well though. I had a metal bolt get kicked up into my right hand right at the carbon plate on the outside three knuckles. It hurt mostly for the shock value but instead of going through my hand (or lacerating it badly) it simply gouged the plastic and the carbon and my hand was sore but fine.

Cool! I mean, I did some research before buying, but it's nice to hear from someone I actually know that what I bought has worked well for them, too. :)

sooo once you have a bike, you should take a vacation up to seattle. :D you and me and my boy can ride around and enjoy being on bikes!!

Heh. Maybe. That's an aweful long haul on to take bent over on a street bike, and I have no interest in a cruiser or even a standard styled motorcycle. ;)

i'm still working on my scooter. motorcycle licenses are required at what power? they say over 50cc, but does that include 50? you'll be mucho stylin' in your black and white outfit, hopefully you can find a matching bike.
