Two bits of news:

1) The post-Heart fic is 5,219 words long and it has found a plot! Kind of. Also, there is a PG-13ish hint of the Wincest to come! Sweeeeet. Although man. balefully is my hero. aw, yay for drunken posts! Am glad your fic found its plotty wincestyness and am totally looking forward to it. And congrats for getting into The Author's class. Sounds sorta kinda terrifying.

Yay for drunken posts, indeed. :D And eee, glad you're looking forward to the fic! There's, uh, still a LOT of it to write. Have you watched Hollywood Babylon yet, by the way?

It IS sorta kinda terrifying. I feel like I need to read his quasi-famous 1,000-page novel sometime before September now, so I have some idea of what I'm getting into! Also write more of the thing I submitted to get into the class, because I called it "an excerpt" to make it sound like there's more, except really, those 4,000 words are it. Heh.

Well, writing more of something which in your mind is finished... kinda sounds horrid. But I'm sure you'll manage - I guess having read his book means you have an idea what he's looking for. I mean, you got in after all!

I was just about to post a huge thing about Hollywood Babylon - but then wasn't sure if you've seen it, although you probably have. Still, I'm so spoilerphobic that I don't want to be responsible for ruining it for you. So.

I know people loved Tall Tales and Hollywood Babylon - and while I thought both were funny - I guess I just need to plot to go somewhere, especially after a long wait. Loved some bits of the ep (like, er, the theme itself) but it also had some bits were just a bit too much for me. Fangirl!Dean wasn't exactly my favourite - to be honest I got so embarrassed I had to put him on mute while he was talking to that actress - but I'm always like that when I love a character too much. I need to go back and watch it when I can take it without hiding my head under the covers ( ... )

The good news, I guess, is that it's not actually finished in my mind; I know there's a whole lot more that's going to happen there. The bad news is that I have no freaking clue what that is. Well. I have a very basic idea of where it goes next, but I am, like, physically incapable of writing short stories, so there's probably a good 70,000 words that should logically follow the current 4,000, and I know what's going to happen in the next . . . 500, maybe? Heh ( ... )
