I am pretty much right there with you. I think the last time I went more than that long without checking LJ was probably . . . when I was hanging out with notthequiettype and ciceronian_00 a couple weeks ago, actually. Bizarre that my least amount of LJ time in quite a while was when I was hanging out with LJers, but those two are attention whores, man. ;)
Merry Christmas to you too! Hope you're having a good day. <3
Frohe Weihnachten zu dir auch! (Ein Tag spät jetzt. *g*) Ich hab' gelesen, dass deine ganze Familie krank ist -- ich hoffe, es bleibt nicht lange so! <3
I used to have a copy of an older paperback edition, but I lost it a few years ago -- I think I gave it to one of my brothers, maybe, and then I never got it back -- but I am so in love with the book. It's AWESOME.
b) I happen to know a beta...;)! Although if there is a lot of children-related stuff, I'm not so sure how good I'd be at it, because my betaing would end up as a constant rant about how it would clearly advance the plot more adequately if all children DIED IN A FATAL ACCIDENT IN THE FIRST LINE.
a) Dude, you are basically the WALKING VERSION OF THAT BOOK, whatever. <3
b) Eee! Um, I don't really think it's that kid-heavy, but then I am afraid I'm entirely too caught up in this story to really know. If Tai's around you might want to ask her what she thinks on that front, because I think she'd know better than I do, since she's been reading as I go but is not actually writing it, and I don't want to subject you to loads and loads of kids stuff if it will make you want to kill things! Or you could like, look at the beginning of it and then make the call yourself, either way.
