Oooh poor little Faith! I feel so bad for her!! That's the most horrible of the things that happen when parents divorce or separate, the kids will suffer no matter how smooth the separation is, and will suffer even more is cases like this one. :*( But if the step-father isn't her biological father and he's mistreating her mother, then why the cause is so difficult?? I don't know, in Italy usually mothers win the custody of the children, even if in some cases they don't deserve it! Anyway, now the most important thing is to male Faith feel loved and accepted, can you invite her to celebrate Christmas with Frankie or go out and do something fun during these holidays? Hugs! Paola
The reason there is a custody issute is because Faith has a younger brother that is her stepdad's biodad and there is no evidence that he has mistreated the kids. Jen and I had a long talk about it yesterday. It's a tough situation, but I agree with Paola, you should try to invite her over for play dates with Frankie. Lainey will be okay with their broken engagement.
One...what a charming kid you have Jen....if he is already proposing to girls at the age of 4, what will he be like as a teenager? Lol...

My folks divorced when I was six months old so I don't remember fights or anything, but my older sisters do. I just remember my Dad not being around for most of my life after that...
I would have been in tears with what Faith told you as well. I'm not a mama, but I love children and get attached to them very easily.
