Ooh! New fic from you! :) And it's Donna, as well :)

Great voices here from both Donna and Wilf. They sound so natural; it's so easy to slip into their POVs because of the way you write them. And, as always, you make us think about the consequences of actions. How difficult it's going to be for Donna's family to stop her from being reminded of things she's supposed to forget. All the things they'll have to worry about: the news, people talking in the street, the fact that huge things happened all over the world and it's simply not possible to isolate Donna from all of them. And did the Doctor even think of that?

But, also, I love Wilf's compassion towards the Doctor. We saw it at the end of the episode; that exchange out in the rain was just heartbreaking, and so is this:
Time and again the Doctor had been there for them, doing his bit for the human race. Where did he come from? Where did he go when all the danger was over, until the next time? Why did he keep on bothering ( ... )

Well, you've nailed it. The Nobles are in an impossible situation and they're going to need a lot of help and support - but from whom?

Wilf comes up in one of the new set of novels, "Beautiful Chaos". That deals with the Nobles both before and after JE and gave me lots of ideas.

I'm rather stalled on that other story right now. Partly lack of time, but also I seem to have written myself out with regard to Ten and Rose. I'm hoping I'll have time to revisit it, though. I think this one is a bit like the Tale of Two Doctors, it's something I had to go into as a little sideline to get my writing going again. And it's very nice to be doing something other than Shakespeare, much as I love him.

This is fantastic, you have got the voices perfect. I'm really looking forward to more.

Thank you. It's almost worrying that I can write Sylvia so easily, and Wilf is just a pleasure to hang out with. Two very underdeveloped characters, really.

Well, if the Doctor didn't want anyone to mention him or what had happened he should have informed all involved.

This looks like the beginning of a great fic. Love the way you have written all of them. Any fic that has Wilf in it can't help but be brilliant. Just love him.

Feel sorry for Donna's family because it must be hard for them. You portrayed that well.

Can't wait for the next part. Great job!

Well, if the Doctor didn't want anyone to mention him or what had happened he should have informed all involved.

And therein, of course, lies so much possible drama.

I've thought a lot about the fallout for the Nobles, and how that's a story in itself. And Wilf is a great pleasure to write.

So Ten didn’t clue anybody else in on what needed to happen to keep Donna safe?

**sighs**

That’s him all over, isn’t it?

I like this very much by the way, and I’m looking forward to seeing how you get them past what Jack’s just inadvertently done!

I think he quite possibly didn't. At least, not until it was too late. Another case of not seeing the smaller, but vital, picture.
