Oh, hell, I'm sorry to hear this. I'm glad you got to be there with her in her last hours, and that you were able to advocate for her. Be gentle with yourself and let people help where they can. Sending love and strength.

I'm very sorry. Both for your loss and for all the dealing-with-stuff that comes after.

I don't know what your plans are but if you're going to be out in LV next week, I'll be out there if you want to hang out for a while and bitch about stuff or something.

The hospital and ICU staff all thanked me for making the decision that is so hard for most family members to make. Sigh.
