Hey! I'm enjoying your more frequent updates and can commiserate on lack of free time--where does it go? I don't know that many people, nor am I involved in very much but every weekend seems to vanish.
I'm excited for you and your grad school ideas! I've been waiting for the same inspiration for awhile too, and I recently found some in the form of an environmental education program. Somehow, the application deadline hasn't passed yet and I may get to start in the fall!
Good luck with your musings and keep writing!

Environmental education?! Do tell. That's actually one of my ideas. Sorta... see a while ago I had the idea that I wanted to use my career to encourage companies to be more Environmentally minded. Sort of a Green Business consultant or something. But I'm not really sure how to get the education to make me a believable authority at that.

The other idea is to be a librarian. Which doesn't really have anything to do with being green, but involves a lot of my other interests and talents.

I'm excited to hear from you. I always wish that I did a better job keeping in touch because I so enjoyed the good times we had together in St. Andrews. I also enjoy reading your journal and seeing what you've been thinking and up too.

Librarian stuff... riseupfromash July 17 2007, 03:01:53 UTC
I'm thinking of becoming a librarian too! UNT actually has an awesome program with lots of options, so I'm thinking of starting classes part time in the spring.

I hope you are doing well. I keep thinking that we should hang out, but as I have learned with making plans with ellek, I have to plan to hang out four weekends in a row before we actually hang out. It's a good system though.
