NaNo 2009

Just to let you know I have signed up for NaNo - my username is Amynta if you want to add me. It’s my first year, and I’ll be looking forward to it immensely.

I don’t think I’ll be able to get the full 50k (although if I do that’ll be bloody fantastic), but I do hope that this will motivate me into getting much more than my usual monthly amount

I added you to my list. I had epic fail during my first year (my grandfather died that month), but I managed to get my 50,000 words for 2008 about a week before the month was up (plus 40,000 more after it was over). I think the weird thing is that after meeting that impossible-looking goal, I had to realise that depending on what you were doing, 50,000 words...isn't a lot of words. :P

But I think my biggest challenge this year is upping my daily word count again to 2,000 words, and writing outside of a genre I'm used to (I don't know if this is a comedy, a spiritual story, or an urban fantasy, really).
