This was beautifully touching, as ever, and one of the few stories about which I was quite sure to have guessed the Author :))

Well done!

Ah, thank you! I was really quite unsure of this story when I submitted it, so I'm thrilled you enjoyed it <3

How did I miss this when it first got posted? I so would have known it was you!!! And it is so lovely too. Seriously - this is my very favorite kind of Hermione/Snape story - the two of them both older and wiser and living together for some reason while they work through a problem and fall in love. And yours is superlative - perfect and gorgeous and full of beautiful moments and real people. How are you so good at this? Hmmmm?

Lol, I'm always surprised when readers "recognize" my stories. I'm not sure what they're picking up on, other than the fact that Snape and Hermione usually end up together :D Oh, and the whole angsty hurt/comfort thing that I love. I'm so happy you liked it. As I mentioned above, I felt out of practice and unsure, so I'm very happy some people enjoyed it, nonetheless. I love writing about these flawed characters' flaws...and they are both very flawed for various reasons...so, I think they're perfect for one another :) Thank you again! It means a lot <3

Well, you do have quite a distinctive style about you - the apt quotation at the start; an open form that looks (and reads and feels) a bit like poetry; gorgeous, honest moments between characters, and that tell-tale -30- at the close. :)

So good. I've just read it again and it is just as perfect as I remember.
