This was such a good read. I love how you wove the flashbacks and Sherlock and John's developing relationship together. Sherlock's realization in the end--a wish granted--was perfect.

You know what? This is AMAZING!That's the only word I came up with when I finish the fic. There were a few times I paused and tried to hug the little Sherlock...But then I remembered that it was the past, everybody got their own, and there would be a bright future awaiting all the time(at least I hope so), then here it comes- Sherlock has John NOW and on.

Did you mentioned this is your first Sherlock fic? Gees, you must write more! Love it so much, thanks for bringing such a nice story to life.

Ah, thank you! You just made my morning, seriously. It kind of broke my heart a little, to write it, but I tried to make it all better for them in the end :D I hope to write more, soon. I'm working on something for the upcoming Sherlockmas, so, there's that, at least! Thank you again, so much!

Oh this was wonderfully done! Touching and charming and funny and melancholy all at once.

(but not for much longer, because several days later she’s simply gone, and it has something to do with the inordinate amount of time she spends with Father, and something to do with the fact that Sherlock sets his bedroom carpet on fire, which is upsetting, but not entirely his fault: he simply wants to see whether white candles really do burn faster than coloured candles; they don’t, but he knocks one over accidentally and, well, the carpet burns very quickly, indeed) I love this whole section. XD Particularly that it's parenthetical, and the offhand comment on the fact that the candles don't burn faster is so very Holmesian.

he realizes what he should have wished for was for people he cares about to stop bloody leaving. This is incredibly sad to me, especially since he seems more agitated by it than sad.

“But, we’re still here, yes?”

John’s fingers move again, coming to rest on the steady pulse in his neck. This seems to please him. He exhales, too. “We are.” I love this too, because it seems like John is just as concerned about ( ... )
