I was also going to suggest the shower trick. :)

I'm glad you guys suggested it- I would've never thought about it.

This is our very first kitty cold - Katzen's been pretty healthy since we got her as a kitten. So I'm a very worried cat mom!

Thank you! I will try the shower thing tonight, and make sure her fountain is good and clean I put an extra water bowl out for the cats in addition to the fountain because it's been so hot- and I've seen her drinking from both so I know she is getting water.

I've been watching my cats for colds since I took in a foster who had a cold. The foster was obviously under the weather but never lost her appetite. Once she started sneezing yellow goobers I was given some antibiotics for her to avoid any worsening secondary infection, but if your cat is only sneezing clear snot and eating/drinking/playing then try not to worry too much! (Easier said than done, I totally understand!)

All her snot has been clear--- and I know this because unfortunately she has sneezed quite a few times ON me. =0

And she spent a good portion of her day visiting the food bowl / drinking / wrestling with her baby brother. So I think she is feeling mostly okay -- I'm just really worried because this is our first cold.
