This month the minimum wage went up to $6.55. I heard someone say at work that the drivers were only gonna get $6.05 since we get tips. Well, I didn't believe it 'til I looked it up on the Domino's site. We are getting $6.05 which I think is ridiculous since we don't necessarily get tips from everyone. When I worked as a waitress I made $2.35 per hour, and was expected to live on my tips. Some days I made over 100$ in tips, some days it was over 200$, and some days it was about 10$. The last couple of months it was closer to about 20$ a day, and I didn't work 7 days a week.

Oh, and we didn't have included 15% gratuity unless the party was 6 or more.

Was gonna say something like that. It's hard to know how much to tip pizza drivers since they make so much more than waiters/waitresses.

I don't agree that waiters/waitresses should make so little. I think everyone that earns tips should still get minimum wage. It seems only fair to me. I mean there are so many assholes in this world that there's no guarantee that you'll be able to get enough in tips to live off of.

Yeah but they know that going in to it. Plus, if they made minimum wage, I think people would tip them even less. Maybe they should make like $4 an hour though.
