This month the minimum wage went up to $6.55. I heard someone say at work that the drivers were only gonna get $6.05 since we get tips. Well, I didn't believe it 'til I looked it up on the Domino's site. We are getting $6.05 which I think is ridiculous since we don't necessarily get tips from everyone. In fact most people we deliver to want their exact change back. Needless to say I'm a little more than pissed about this. I wouldn't be so upset if they would put a 15% gratuity in the price like they do at restaurants for waiters and waitresses, but they don't. Right about now I'm hoping I can just not kill people 'til I get my money from school. When I do get that money, I might just quit Domino's altogether.....it depends on how much I get though. I'm gonna try to see if I can get a job on campus since that would be so much easier on me. I guess we'll see what happens when that time comes.
