So, I'm sure most of y'all aren't gonna be grossed out by this, but be warned just in case. Today I had two instances of the bloody snot coming out of my nose when I blew it. It's beginning to worry me. I know it means I have a sinus infection, but I can't go to the doctor to fix it ( Read more... )

It doesn't have to be a sinus infection to have bloody snot. It can be due to simple irritation if your nose has been blown a lot lately. Also, your sinuses could just be dried out (like mine) from the recent weather changes.

I haven't been blowing my nose that much. My sinuses definately aren't dried up....I can feel the mucus flowing around in there when I turn over in my sleep. It's kinda weird actually.

No, they can be dried yet have mucus still...It's like the walls aren't appreciating the air that you're breathing in.

my more epic sinus infections have been more of a cloudy yellow green, not bloody.

Foul smelling snot is usually the way to know if it's infected...and it'll usually be yellow...but if your snot stinks, it's funky.
