I have my deceased father to thank for the following things and I cannot post them on Facebook without inciting a riot (mostly with my sister):

-A love of co-ops and an appreciation of bulk/natural foods.
-Relationships that do not meet the "man + woman" norm. :P

That's all. He was good for something at least.

Only three weeks go until my due date and now that I've hit 37 weeks, Leo could arrive at any time now (though I'd rather he's not!) It also looks like I will be taking this next semester off from school and subsisting on W2 (Wisconsin Works) and Foodshare, which I don't have a problem with. Looks like I'll be having a boy come August or so. :) Here's a link to some ultrasound pictures for those of you who are interested. Also, the baby shower will be in June (as far as I know at this point) and held in Portage, WI --so kind of a halfway point for my spread out friends.

I had my first prenatal appointment today with Dr. Sonnek. My due date is set for August 3rd, so I'm eight weeks and a few days currently. The scary part is apparently twins run on Joe's side and I've already put on 5 pounds, as well as having to get a bigger bra. All hail the boob fairy. ;p ( Read more... )
