Oh, I really loved this. Dave's dad as a doctor/psychiatrist has been my headcanon ever since Furt so seeing him written like that? Win.

And your Dave! He's just a heartbreak all around. I love how you portray his feelings and actions, feels very real. ♥

Lol, it's been mine too. I polled the members of my family just to make sure I wasn't imagining things.

"What do you think is this man's profession based on this scene?"
"Psychologist."
"Psychologist."
"Prof." Pause. "Or a psychologist."

I think it's the brown suit that does it. \o/

Also, I love your Kurtofsky fill for the glee meme! I totally had your fanart in mind when I wrote the scene with Azimio and the wedding topper at the end. Poor Dave. ;_;

I like the glimpse you gave us into Dave's mind. Very well written fic! :)

Oh, I loved this. The way you write his parents, his dad especially, is so much like I imagined them. How did you get into my head? :p
Such a great view of what might have been going on in his head through everything.

Thanks! One of my not-so-secret hopes for the show is that we get to see more of Paul Karofsky. The contrast he presents to Dave is fascinating, and I would love the show forever if (a la Burt) it turns out that he's known Dave was gay for a long time and was just waiting for Dave to tell him. The dramatic irony would be epic.

Yes, I want more Paul Karofsky. I want to know more about his homelife and why he's so scared of people finding out.
That would be pretty epic.

Loved this. I have a hard time liking the way most Kurt/Karofsky fic goes since they don't ring true, but this does. This slides neatly into my headcanon, and I loved it.

Hearing their story slides neatly into headcanon is one of the best compliments a writer can receive! I'm glad the story works for you. I tried very hard to stay true to the character Max Adler presents us on screen while at the same time taking the opportunity to delve a little deeper into what makes Dave the unfortunate mess he is. Thank you for reading!

It's only progressing at roughly the speed of canon, but more is definitely on the way!
