What does a "hot water rack" and "jar grabbers" look like? One of my grandmothers use to make preserves. It would be a shame if you went out to buy such things and it turned out I have a dusty set of them lurking in the back of a cupboard.

ok. I think I found the measuring cup with a hole cut out of it. The rack and the funky tongs look really familiar, but I can't seem to lay my hands on them. I found some parafin and some canning lids, so I will bring that all over tomorrow. Maybe I will get lucky tomorrow morning and find a few more odds and ends.
