Okay, I went looking for an explanation of an exercise assigned to one of the higher scalings of tomorrow's Crossfit WOD, and found this. At the top it looked like tough versions of moves I already knew about, and then just got... progressively more as I scrolled down ( Read more... )

I have a friend who could do that. He doesn't even work out all the time (although he does a lot of martial arts), but he's just ridiculously genetically gifted. I've seen him do one-armed pull-ups while casually gabbng about it. He can lift me over his head like it's nothing.

(He is, however, not strong enough to put people down without making them turn their goddam ankle, ow dammit. But that's not lack of strength, that's just expectation that everyone can do a perfect catlike landing on their feet from any position, the way he can.)
