The weekend came not a moment too soon. I know the work-related madness will continue until the Big's go up to their cottage for a week or so in August. I have been often contradicted when referring to NH as a "cottage". My sister-in-law is all "No running water? No electricity?! That's not a cottage!" It amuses me, but I have taken to refering to it as "the cabin" to avoid other confusions.

We've decided in the end that we'll arrange for me to call using a phone card at a set time on the 22nd or so, from the payphone at the Newfound Grocery. This will result in a totally unwanted work/lesiure/family collision, but such is life. Neither of us are willing to sacrifice the solitude by having a cell phone attached to our hips the whole time.

Not that I'd get reception up there anyways.
