Jeeves' relief in "Fatigue" is absolutely fabulous. It just sprouted up a world of Jeeves & Bertie for me. :D

"Familiar" is sort of heartbreaking in an odd way for me, because Madeline terrifies me, but at the same point, I can see Bertie's point! She's become a fixture of alarmingness in his life, and... there's such a pang of sadness to his wishing he could be her wounded lover. It's quite beautiful, and painful, and alarming because you managed to break my heart with Bertie/Madeline. (Before this I would have said that wasn't even possible, unless Bertie had been forced to walk the aisle with her. ;)

Oh goodness, "Baby" and "Loss"... I just can't. They both kill me. You are so fabulous at heart-wrenching scenes.

OMG, you did a series of coat drabbles!!! ♥ Bertie sneaking illicit coats in! Aw, Bertie's father holding him! (I adore Bertie remembering moments of his parents omg.) And I wondered along with Jeeves if Bertie had dismissed him. *wibble* Thank goodness Jeeves didn't properly destroy the coat and could get it back ( ... )

Thank you so much!

There wasn't much fluff in this set of drabbles was there? I think the fatigue drabble came closet to it. I must admit that I take some pleasure out of writing angsty things...

"Familiar" was an interesting experiment for me. I certainly didn't want to make it too romantic for that would be rather difficult to do without taking Bertie out of character. So instead of sappiness I went for angst.I'm glad you thought it worked well.

And I was hoping you'd like the coat drabbles since you suggested the idea.:) I had to make the ending alright for I think it would even be to angsty for me if Jeeves had destroyed the coat.

Thanks once more for your kind comment!

Write angst by all means, old thing! ♥ You do it very well, and there's just not nearly enough of it in Jooster. ;)

After "Familiar" I am intrigued how you would pair Bertie with Florence and Honoria now, if you ever would. (Of the set of beazels we meet, I always liked Honoria--along with Marion--better than the rest, I admit.) Oh my, and what if Bertie did in some way love Madeline? My mind is agog! ...and a little alarmed! lol

I adore the coat drabbles! I can quite see the entire scene happening, and I love Bertie angsting over his parents. I also love Jeeves getting to presumptuous with things that are important to Bertie. And when Jeeves, sartorial standards, and Bertie's parents are all put into one sentence you just know chaos is going to ensue. (It's all fun and games until someone loses a priceless heirloom...) I really, really love Jooster fluff, but there's always love for Jooster angst too. (I'm very glad you finished the coat drabbles on a fluffier note though, or my heart would have broken ( ... )

I've always been fond of Tv Honoria. There wasn't anything really wrong with her besides being a bit too rough. It seemed like Bertie and her could even be friends. I think it would be an amusing scene to see her defending Bertie from some danger, whether it be another woman or something else. Book Honoria on the other hand makes quite a firm statement about getting rid of Jeeves so that loses her quite a few points in Bertie's opinion ( ... )
