I saw that post on Newsarama and flipped... someone I know writing comics as well. That's a double thrill!

I have also been a space-nut for many years, and the current snails pace of exploration has been frustrating me to no end.

Great to see you, Cecil. And congratulations on The PLAIN Janes. Nice interview over at Newsarama. It's gotta feel good to have your first OGN on the way. I greatly enjoyed Boy Proof.

It was nice meeting you (and your gold shoes!) this summer, and I'm expecting more awesomeness from you.

Cecil, you know that addy I gave you...It *was* the right one. I ended up buying a different house, but got the forwarded mail. And funny thing, I was reading you book in public, which isn't such a bad thing, unless you're a grown man. In which case, BOY PROOF may look like a Neverland Ranch kind of choice.

But I digress. :)

Austin is interesting. And surrounded by Texas. So I know you'd love it.

Yay! I am so pumped for Plain Janes! And who doesn't love BKV and Astonishing X-men? And now Joss Whedon is taking over Runaways!!! (who will hopefully deal with the fact that Karolina is a lesbian who's dating a man. I don't care that he's a Skrull)

And I didn't think I could live DC any more than I already did, but when Karen Berger said that MINX books would honor intelligence, assertiveness, and individuality... I mean, awesome.
