Thanks, lady! My original idea was to have Rufus as Mal and John as Paden, but Bobby wouldn't stop pulling on my sleeve (not to mention those memories of Jim Beaver in Deadwood. So Rufus n' Bobby, it was. :)
I'm not familiar with James MacAvoy, but just Googled him, and you're right about the resemblance. LOL, at least wannabe!Bobby looks like somebody.
Poor Bobby. Much more practice is needed on Mister Singer, methinks. :)
OMG!! Silverado is one of my mother's favorite movies; and as such, our whole family has seen it tens upon tens upon tens of thousands of times. This is epic. <333 LOVE this mashup poster. And hee, Sam and Dean's belt buckles! Nice detail. ;)
NICE! (Of course, now you've got me thinking of doing the John Wayne El Dorado for next year's main round... maybe with Osric in the James Caan role. :D)
Oooh, that's the one with Robert Mitchum as the drunken sheriff, yes? You know I need to read this now, right? And would be most interested in seeing what you were to do with it . . .
Yes! And after consulting with jennytork, I've changed my mind--it'll be John as Cole, Bobby as JP, Rufus as Bull (hee!), and Sam and Dean splitting the Mississippi role. Am in the process of nailing down who all the McDonalds are now... also trying to decide whether Sam should be as terrible a shot as Mississippi or to skip that part. :D
