I've been having fun rereading Northanger Abbey and Mansfield Park. After rereading Northanger Abbey I was inspired to do some more research on my Rococo Steampunk idea (what if airships were invested in more during the middle of the 18th century) that originally started as the PotC fanfic Rigid Airship. I'm wondering though

What did you think of the ending of Northanger Abbey? Rather hurried and all tell rather than show. Fun book, though. Very tongue in cheek.

I agree! Every time I read it I'm hoping (by some magic) that the ending gets longer. I've always thought Eleanor needed her own book about her journey to marriage.

I've also read Lady Susan and I'm surprised that with today's preoccupation with anti-heroes and villains that no one has made a miniseries or film based on Lady Susan. I would certainly watch it, would you?
