Stefan has always been the realistic brother.
Even when he and Damon were children, it was always Stefan who would draw his brother back down to earth when his fanciful dreaming would lead them down the path that lead to Giuseppe's switch. Vampirism had only reinforced the sense of practicality with which Stefan approached the world. As much as he did not want to be a vampire, it was never going to change the fact he was one; and so he tried to live as normal a life as possible

I love your Stefan in this, love how you portray him and his feelings for Elena compared to what he felt for Katherine and others, how you convey the love between Stefan and Elena, and their relationship, how she keeps him grounded, how scared he is at the thought of losing her, anything happening to her. And the whole idea of her being his absolution, beautiful.

A lot of the time I think Stefan wanting to keep things "normal" for Elena is also about wanting that normalcy for himself, and I think it makes it that much harder for him that he cannot have it.

Oh this is so beautiful. I love your Stefan, and how you write the love between them. It hurts, but in the best way, how he knows they may not last but he's going to try to hold on as tight as he can. Loved this <3

The lengths Stefan will go to in order to hold onto Elena have always fascinated me, and I think it's going to be interesting as the series goes on to see how that plays out.

I love Stefan and his relationship with Elena, but I also think there are so many complications that sometimes you can tell it really scares him. I'm glad you liked this.
