It rained more today than the actual day of the storm. What the hell?!

By the way, has anyone seen those new Domino's commercial, where they give you free brownies? The mascot is a little brownie with legs called Fudgo, and it is pretty creepy/funny for some reason.

I finished reading Fight Club yesteday. It was pretty good, but i can imagine it being better if i hadn't seen the movie first. Choke (by the same author) is next on the queue list, after that it is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and then? Because of yesterday's storm, our DirecTv dish was apparently moved by the wind/rain, so we couldn't see some channels. It has happened before, one time they had to come and realign it, but a couple of other times, i was able to solve the issue just with the remote control (something about testing the signal and then changing some numbers, no clue ( Read more... )

That means i probably have to work tomorrow. I was already looking forward to a day off.

Like an hour ago i (and the rest of my family) heard some explosion, not far from here, while at the same time the power went down for a bit. We looked out and there were at least two more explosions, with smoke and everything.
