Elementary - not terrible, just blah
So I finally watched Elementary's pilot episode. It was like eating cereal when what you really want is a nice juicy hamburger and french fries. The cereal isn't all that bad, and fairly tolerable by itself, but cannot compare to the hamburger and fries. You don't savor the cereal, just sit there transferring it from the box to your mouth. Pottermore Sorting
I'm in Slytherin.
I thought I would be a Ravenclaw for sure, but apparently the Sorting Hat thought differently. I'm not unhappy though - I really didn't have a strong preference.

I love Sherlock. I enjoyed RDJ's Sherlock Holmes movies.
But, I have a bone to pick with the writers/directors/producers...what the hell happened to Irene Adler?

I hate wallpaper. Really, really hate it.
For the love of god, NEVER put up wallpaper. For the sake of the sanity of whoever tries to renovate the room next.
I just spent an entire afternoon stripping a bathroom of the stuff. NOT FUN. My hands hurt from scraping with the chisel and my eyes are watering from the glue removal spray we used.
And there are two more bathrooms. I'm doomed. -
