Option 1: Spaghetti-O Western.

Mix two cans of Spaghetti-Os and one can of black beans. Add as much chili powder as you like. Heat in a pan. Top with shredded cheese. Serve.

I love this to death, but have been told by many others that the concept is disgusting. YMMV.

Option 2: Tuna pot pie.

Mix two cans of tuna, one can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, one 10oz package of frozen veggies in a bowl. Mix in one tbsp of assorted herb seasoning. Pour the mixture into a 2qt caserole dish. Cover top with pieces of refrigerated biscuits. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.

I think I actually have that book. I'm looking for something that involves a bit more actual cooking from fresh food. I'm not opposed to chopping up herbs, making my own sauce, etc, as long as it's a relatively quick recipe that I won't spend 3 hours in prep. Thanks for the suggestions, though!

It's the Spagetti-Os. They're just not very good.

Any ingredient requirements? Vegetarian? Allergies?

No requirements, but I'm not really in a fish or vegetarian mood tonight. I'm feeling like chicken or possibly beef.

I know, I'm not making this particularly easy.

Check this out:

If you click "All Fall Categories..." it gives you a builder so you can put in categories. Under 60 minutes, beef, main dish ...etc.

Might give you somewhere to build from.

Ooooh. That was very good. I think I will save that one for another time. See the edit I'm about to make in the entry.

For reference, do you cook the asparagus and if so, how?

Here's one of my faves. It's sooo easy and tastes like authentic Italian food. The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is the stirring every five minutes. I've skimped on that and stirred it maybe every 15 or so ( ... )

Interesting. I've never baked pasta before, but it sounds nice and easy if you need to get other things done whilst you are cooking.

Thanks!
