Grand Rapids is a pretty happenin place these days. Yesterday Ford’s remains were flown in to the Ford International Airport just about the time I was driving down 28th St. There were mass amounts of people lined up to see the motorcade. This morning I woke up and all I could think of was the beach. Oddly enough a deserted beach makes me think of Christmas. I love playing when the tide goes out and small rivers are formed in the sand going back into the ocean. I think I'm going to finish a whole tube of ritz crackers in one sitting....yum.

Last night I finished That Hideous Strength. Now I just have to read the first book. (blush) But I recommend Lewis' Space Trilogy to anyone and everyone. My next read will be A Wrinkle in Time. I'm very excited!

Hey guys, just wanted to shoot out a quick update. The most pivital news right now is that Dan's semester ends in two weeks! By this Friday he'll have his main project fully completed and presented.
