Expectations Before Watching:
    1. I fully expect President Rosalyn to die.
I kinda expect Admiral Adama to die too, but not as much.
I expect the little rugrat to be rescued and returned to at least one surviving parent (probably Helo).
I expect a lot of cylons to die, including 2-3 of the 5.
I expect to find out what's going on with Starbuck!! Dammit!

Yeah, that was kinda' my thinking too. Too wavy-handed mysticism and the robot-montage didn't work for me one bit.

I thought it was pretty good overall. I've seen very little of seasons 1, 2, and the first half of 3, so I'll probably catch up at some point.

The Luddite ending.... well, ok, but, did everybody really have to disperse and never see each other again? What, Adama and son couldn't get together once a year for Caprica-Thanksgiving?

It tickles me that, in the original series, or at least in the bad spinoff, GALACTICA 1980, it was planned for Starbuck to become an angel, basically. That is, in an unproduced episode "Wheel of Fire" it was going to be revealed that he joined the "Ship of Lights", basically an angelic host.

You know I came to understand the differences that Mr. Moore was trying to bring out in his version of BSG.

Over all i liked the idea of some higher power sort of directing from a far the over all scope of what was happeneing. The idea that what has happened will happen again is a very apt theme as we simple mortals don't seem to learn from our own history.

The idea that BSG was our forefathers and that Hera was Eve was delightful.

I agree that the need to not create a city was perhaps the wrong choice, i would have been happier with them all becomeing Atlantis and then realizing that over time it was better to just fade away.

My main question is the Cylons, they don't age, so what happened to them? Did they all just die off from injuries.

I did like at the end Baltar telling Caprica that God didn't like being called god.

I have to say the whole thing could have been worse.

Hi. I don't know you honey, I'm sorry, I just thought you might want to know. We're having a modern Irish-sytle wake for Stormy here in L.A. this Saturday, the 26th, starting at 5pm, near downtown. Please let me know if you'd like details..
