Conflicts suck

Before I get into the meat of tonight's whine: an amusing antecdote!

I hear you on the conflicts problem. I get them all the time. Even my trip to LA will conflict with my usual game, but this is the first time the lady I will be seeing will be in LA, and who knows when she may return. So, I miss a game, and my friends thankfully understand.

BTW, Maker's Faire, practically walking distance from my house. You can camp here if you want. I can also arrange transport, crap like that. You *could* MAIL stuff up to the house, then fly up.All sorts of thing.

YC goes every year, takes friends, all that. It's a thing. I think we get discounted tickets because of uh, stuff.

Could you arrange to move the game to another (near-by) night? For the sake of your safety, I don't think I could back to the idea of a 350mi drive that *started* at 1am.

6hr drive that starts at 1am? I've totally done that. I still wouldn't recommend it. What you need is a chauffeur who can sleep early and drive you to your crafty destination.
Or plan for next year I guess.
