My best friend. We had this weird-ass four-hour argument and it was horrible and inevitable and really fucking crazy. (It's all fine now. Sort of.) Afterward, I texted her something to cheer her up and she replied, "God, I love you."

Ha! I find it kind of comforting, because (a) it means that I'm not the only one, and (b) it's nice to know that someone who approaches things much the same way I do turns out to be a pretty fantastic person who seems to have a good grip on things.
Thanks so much! And it's sad that letters have gone out of style. I guess it's because we tend not to have 'news' to tell one another anymore. Updates on our lives are so accessible with social networking and whatnot.
