Now that it's four months later, I'm posting pics from Ellis Island. Only a few, with a link to flickr--mostly because I like you and wouldn't want to kill your friends page with 57 photos. Anything super grainy was taken with a 7 year old roll of film :o ( Read more... )

Thanks! You should check out the museum if you never have. It's only $17 dollars, which includes the ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty, then to Ellis Island, then back to Manhattan.

How did you get there?! I have always wanted to photograph the forgotten part of Ellis Island. I haven't been in a while, so maybe I just missed it last time I was there?

It was part of the Open House New York Tour. I've been trying to get on this one for a couple of years now, but It always fills up pretty quick. They still have the listing from '08 up if you want to get an idea of what they offer. Apt buildings, museums, The Highline, Old Croton Aqueduct, etc.
