I was doing some baking this evening , for our family reunion that we're having at the weekend, and thought I'd stick down the receipe for the quiche I made

Sounds delicious! I like making quiche, in cool weather. As you say, it's great for feeding guests! Bacon and mushrooms usually go into mine!

Mine always tend to be veggie, probably because I tend to fill them with things I have in the house, and I don't tend to buy bacon much, but I always have cheese and some vegetables.
