100 Days of Happy #68

I posted a coloring vid here a few weeks ago, and I decided to buy the same coloring book (Winter Dreams by Hanna Karlzon). It's a set of 20 postcards. I like that it's a little bigger than a regular postcard, and the art is sized properly (some postcards are sized down versions of the originals, making it harder to color ( Read more... )

I colored in small circles instead of straight lines

VERY clever.

Wheee, a cute bobcat. :D I colored a postcard for my mom as a b-day card and I think that one was just a resized version of a bigger pic, because holy cow there were some tiny details in that one. O.o Coloring large surfaces in circles sounds like a neat trick - I will have to remember that! :D

Yay, thanks! ♥ :D Very cute. It's great that you colored a postcard for you mom. Yes, some postcards have tiny details because they're just resized. Coloring in small circles helps a lot... I'm glad that the suggestion was helpful :D Also, until I get better at it, I didn't use a lot of colors on the larger areas... just a slightly darker shade for the neck and tips of the cat's ears. And with the tree and sky, I only used one color. When I color the postcard that was in the vid, I'll try to do more blending. We'll see!
