100 Days of Happy #68
I posted a coloring vid here a few weeks ago, and I decided to buy the same coloring book (Winter Dreams by Hanna Karlzon). It's a set of 20 postcards. I like that it's a little bigger than a regular postcard, and the art is sized properly (some postcards are sized down versions of the originals, making it harder to color).
I'm eager to color the same one that's in the vid, but I wanted to practice on a different pic first. I've never completely colored a background before, because I thought it would look streaky. But once I started coloring, it went on very smoothly. The texture of the paper makes a big difference, and I colored in small circles instead of straight lines. The other large area to color was the cat, and it worked well for that, too. Yay!
