I love August, but we have a bit of respite from the heat being on the ocean. I however will be glad when town empties out a bit after Labor Day.

Glad to hear Chloe is doing better! And Practical Magic is one of the movies my sister and I love watching together. We often break into "Put a lime in the coconut" when we're chatting.

Fie on work here as well! I wish someone would will me millions of dollars and a vacation home in Italy!

I saw that one. :) Unfortunately, doling out portions of August to July and September won't make the bad weather go away. *sigh*

Basically, I need to move somewhere less humid in the summer, or we need to put our cities inside gigantic bubbles. :)

I'm glad to hear kitty is doing better. *hugs* It's always traumatic when your pets aren't doing well.

I'd be happy to help you with the indepently wealthy thing but I've already promised several other people millions should I ever win the lottery. :) And first thing is to buy the stupid cheapo hotel down the street and stop the boozers hanging out in my neighbourhood! Then I can dole out the rest to my friends.
