I've been feeling its workings very hard this week. Pretty much anything that could go wrong did. First my parents left (this isn't exactly something that went wrong, but their absence definitely didn't help). There are uncles, cousins and male friends. You definitely don't need a boyfriend for that.

*hugs back* I know, especially as a lot of guys today couldn't fix a thing to save their lives. But it is handy to have someone who can do it around.

I considered calling a professional, but I don't know any. I could just get one from the phone book, but I admit I feel a bit wary letting some strange guy into my flat. Even if he doesn't kill me, how do I know he's not just some crappy handyman and complete opposite of a professional? Though I should probably ask around, I'm sure there are enough good trustworthy people and companies out there, whom I could hire in case of another emergency like that.
