My flat finally looks pretty much how I wanted it to look. I have a new coffee table, shelves, commode, table and chairs There are still a couple of things I'd change, like the carpet and the couch, but they can wait. In the meantime, have some pics of new goodies.

I finally have a dresser, coffee table and new shelves. I've ordered a table with four chairs and I've been promised I'll have them before Christmas. Seems like a long time, but the shop is swimming in orders, and as each piece of furniture is semi-custom made (the customer gets to pick the colours and materials), it's bound to take some time. Yesterday was exactly one year since I moved into my own flat. I can't believe how fast the time flew. It's been a good year, it didn't take long for me to feel completely at home here, and the place has become a sanctuary of peace and quiet I need after a hectic day at work, something I never got when I still lived with my parents ( Read more... )
