"Blue? Really?" Cameron asked, waving Sam over as he spotted her. He'd just been down at the SGC for a session with Dr. MacKenzie when they'd called the lockdown. It was one way to get to know the SGC, he could think of better ways, but there was a lot to see and do.

Aly's shoulders were tense from a midnight awakening then a long sequence hearing reports and giving orders. News was filing back slowly though, and she'd relaxed enough to be slightly bored. Which was why she reached for the cell phone hidden deep in her desk and punching in a certain person's number.

One of the many wonders of the SGC was how she had cell phone reception so deep underground. "Hello?"
