it's been an awful lot of time

I don't know where to start. I ditched my glorious Livejournal for so long I don't have a clue about whether there's someone who still will read me.

I go on with my every day life, and that's the main reason why I don't come here anymore. A hubby, work and mum are a little too much for  a person who was used to just mind her business.
Of course ( Read more... )

spandau ballet, friends, real life

Spandau Ballet were one of my favourite groups of the 80's and I went to see them at the NEC *many* years ago when I was still a young teenager. They were awesome :-)

Oh, I have that concert (ahem, d/loaded) and I saw them on every tour from Parade on. By the way, you're around the London area if I remember well... If you happen to know something about where they live, I'd be very grateful. I think I'll try to see them when they (hopefully) work for the new album. I hope it will be London and not some exotic island. Who was your fave one?

I miss you. It feels entirely wrong that I'll be in Rome in two weeks and not seeing you.

You should add me on Facebook.

You in Rome in two weeks? Sign I'm not reading my flist so often.
Tell me when you're here and, if it's okay with you, we can arrange at least a meeting. I want to hug you again. I'll probably be leaving around the end of June, but 2 weeks is not that time, isn't it? I'll look for you on FB. mhmm, I tried with your real name and you don't appear. Feel free to write me to tell me how you're called there, or, if you still have my real name somewhere, do add me.

I'm glad you've found something else that gives you happiness :)

Happiness is a big word... But yes, it's the net version of the word "fun". ;)

hi there veronicaluv June 4 2010, 03:36:29 UTC
It's always a nice surprise to see a post from you! I know life has moved on for you - for me, too, in some ways - but I think of you often, especially when I'm writing WAT (yes, still writing WAT once in a while). Fandoms are cyclical and I hope that you find something that makes you as happy as WAT did in its day, and that you're able to fit it into a busy life and find joy in it.

Thanks for the update and I hope all is well with you - I still have your mom's address and I'll send a postcard from my next trip, if that's okay :).

take care - V

I didn't stop writing because of my vaning of interest, but after my father's death. I stopped a number of things after that, though i can't call myslef depressed in any way. *shrugs* I hope it improves.

It's funny (or pathetic): in the beginning there was WaT, Danny, to drive me to start a life on the net, now it's the desire to keep staying on the net and to meet my friends to drive me towards whatever fandom i can gather!!

A post-card by you will be welcomed! :)

I'm here, I'm still reading mommy!!
If you want to talk about going to the supermarket, I'd be happy about that! Don't leave us!!

I'm intrigued about this new Enrique thing, I hope it's better than it sounds :| Don't want it to get cancelled before it's even begun!!

Hi love!

I loathe talking about domesticity. I think i just hate domesticity in itself (do you remember? While many of you would wrote/read of Danny/Martin already settled, I would write/read of them finding their mutual love, without any sign of domestic scenes). As a matter of fact, it's the low light of being married. But the supermarket is the less unpleasant task, so we can talk about that ;)

I'm not fond of Shonda Something shows, but I saw the trailer and the cast is lovely. Mostly, I'm happy for Enrique. We'll see what happens.
