After getting away from the shark, Kouki's been exploring the town, hearing the music play as always. Then, he heard someone else singing.

Miku Hatsune.

Following it, he came across the saloon and entered.

"I'll run AWAY with nothing but my unifo~orm--"

Oh! There's Kouki Wakahisa. "Hi!" she says to him, letting "Stop time, right now" pass her right by. It's okay. She'll be able to sing it again as much as she wants!

He can hear the music change, accommodating the current song and Miku Hatsune. A smile grace his face, walking closer to her.

"Happy?"

"Yeah..." She shrugs lightly as she smiles back at him. "Like, the happiest I've been for -- how long has it been, anyway?" Right, they don't have calendars...

Miku was back to normal it seemed.. But did that mean that she had 'died' too? Or had she simply switched places with the other version of herself for a few days? This was all so confusing, even more so when it involved robots.. Sighing, he sat down on one of the few remaining bar stools next to the partly destroyed counter, deciding to listen to Miku's singing for a while. She seemed happy at the moment, but then, she always did when something concerned music.

It took her a little while to notice that Gokudera had come in. Black ★ Rock ★ Shooter -- you're not alone anymore!" When she saw Gokudera around then, she shrugged lightly at him, pointing to the microphone and the machine and herself in a disjointed gesture meant to convey she was currently occupied. Coming up with things like that was pretty difficult for her. This was quite likely the single happiest he'd ever seen her: The reunion with her sister was bittersweet, tempered as it was by the fact that now she was here... but this was unadulterated.

The half-Italian nodded in understanding; he didn't really want her to stop. Resting his head in his hand, he observed the robot girl as she sang, all smiles like she didn't have a care in the world; it was nice to see her like this. Of course, that look would change the moment the bastards decided to make the karaoke machine vanish again..

Unconsciously, he tapped his fingers against the counter along with the song's rhythm; it was sort of catchy.

She'd noticed him at a fairly late point in the song, so it wasn't very long before she finished up, leaving the karaoke machine to automatically play some theme song she'd never heard before quietly on the selection screen.

"Hey, Gokudera! How are you doing? I can't - I can't believe it, there was one back in my house on the beach and Mikuo and I were going to have a totally awesome karaoke party but then, you know, there was the real party, and then that was... that was gone, so..." She waved her arms around, flailing somewhat. Her point was that this had been at the back of her mind for a very long time. The individual instruments that Gokudera and Prussia had were wonderful in their own right, but they just weren't what she was used to, not what her voice was made for. This was. "So yeah. So. How are you?"

Being the curious sort that he is, when he hears the music he immediately goes to investigate. At first he can't make out that it's music, so he is a little concerned that those outlaws could be back, but as he draws closer, a smile breaks through his serious expression. By the time he enters the saloon, he knows exactly who it is, so instead of drawing attention to himself, he merely goes behind the bar, finds a relatively clean looking mug, and crosses his fingers that there is still beer to be had.

He'll blame the lingering religious sentimentalism from his recent stint as the Ordensstaat for the quiet 'Hallelujah~!' that he sings under his breath when beer does spring forth from the tap.

She's stuck in Romeo and Cinderella for quite a while at first. She goes through it at least three times, just because it will always make her happy for no particular reason because it's not like running away in bare feet makes her think of anything in particular, does it? Does it? "Be-fore that happens come and save me..."

And then she trails off. Prussia's there. Oh. She's really popular today, isn't she? Not that she minds that, of course. Quite the opposite. ...although she can technically sing for the whole day without taking a break, and that is really appealing, it doesn't feel quite right with him around. Hmm. And maybe there are snacks that she should be looking into, too. She hasn't really done the whole eating thing during this particular semi-vacation, has she? She needs to consider that, doesn't she. But she'll defer that particular position for now. "Oh. Hi!" Thank goodness there's a nice little instrumental outro at the end for her recognition of him to not-interrupt.

"Ah, you didn't have to stop singing! Is that the kind of accompaniement you're supposed to have?" It sounds... different. Good, he supposes, but distinctly different from the kind of music he's used to listening to. He settles into a lean against the bar, sipping his beer contentedly. It's utter shit, but it's alcohol, and that's the truly important part. Though now he just feels a bit guilty that his need for a drink interrupted her singing, because it's been a while since he's seen her look truly happy. Probably not since when he played flute for her.

"Yeah! It's not supposed to be just like a piano or whatever - I mean, piano is okay, but it's not the best especially 'cause I'm not one of the softer appends or anything - it's like having one of those opera thingies with only one instrument, it's just not right at all. I--" She spins around with the microphone clasped in both her hands. "Uwaaaaaaaah! Everything is just finally right again for a little while, you know?" Her face faltered for the slightest moment at that little qualifying clause, but it was out of her mind within the instant.
