Unconsciously, he tapped his fingers against the counter along with the song's rhythm; it was sort of catchy.

"Hey, Gokudera! How are you doing? I can't - I can't believe it, there was one back in my house on the beach and Mikuo and I were going to have a totally awesome karaoke party but then, you know, there was the real party, and then that was... that was gone, so..." She waved her arms around, flailing somewhat. Her point was that this had been at the back of her mind for a very long time. The individual instruments that Gokudera and Prussia had were wonderful in their own right, but they just weren't what she was used to, not what her voice was made for. This was. "So yeah. So. How are you?"

He didn't really feel like talking at the moment so listening to her singing suited him just fine. The teen hoped she'd take care to avoid singing any C7 notes though..

''I have a request; this one.'' Gokudera said, pointing at a song called Melody. The Italian had never heard of it before so it was a gamble; he studied her reaction, hoping that it wasn't another high-pitched song..

"This was one of my first big hits, you know. Never got past the million but there was still a pretty big impact! It's such a shame that Mikuru396 never made anything else that popular - I really liked working with her~" She babbled in happy nostalgia as the dissonant intro began to play.

''Ah, I see! Well, I look forward to hearing it then.'' Gokudera said as he headed back to his chair to listen to the robot's performance.

"When I was all alone completely~ You held your hands out with love to me~" She went through the song like she was at peace again. Her voice sounded a little more synthetic than it usually did, luxuriously holding notes longer than humanly possible.

Miku's singing was soothing though. Gokudera lit up a cigarette and leaned back on his chair as he listened.

Her eyes flickered over to him when Gokudera lit up. Seeing him smoking in a wooden building... Well, it was probably safe. Probably. Yeah. She had to stay cool. She went on having only missed a beat or two.

''The smoke won't damage your circuits, right?'' Gokudera assumed that she would have mentioned it before if that was the case; he had smoked in her presence plenty of times already after all. Still, he wanted to make sure. ''You have filters or something?''
