[She looks up at her kind of like a flower by whom the sun is passing, finishing her glass with a slightly brighter grasp on things.] I just get the idea sometimes that you're, like, still not used to everything like I am by now, you know? Well, I guess I'll never really be used to it but almost close enough! It can't really surprise me anymore. After Story of Evil, Disappearance, all that stuff, it's not that much of a big step to get used to people dying all the time in real life, right? [This is pretty much entirely a brave attempt at actual tatemae that's failing miserably. This is what Carriero does to the girl.]

Well, I guess not too many -- [Skeptical. The way she remembers it they may have actually been more frequent but then again there were never bonfires and the days all melt into each other here so she has no idea how frequently the parties are actually taking place.] Huh, I never thought of it that way before!
