The great outdoors

Everything is blooming here. The pollen is so thick that it's piled up on the sides of the street. Luckily I am not allergic, but only sneeze when it gets in my nose like dust. Since I'm not all itchy and watery-eyed I find this time of year quite lovely. It's still cool enough that the mosquitos are not out yet, but it's warm enough for shorts

One of my coworkers just moved down from New York a few months ago, and when we left work a couple of nights ago, she stopped in shock and said "What is that yellow stuff all over my car?!". She had never seen pollen before. I told her to get used to it.:)

This is very random - but I saw you had trouble with the Stephen Maturin mood theme? If you're still interested, you can just hotlink from my images. They're not going anywhere.

(I'd taken a leave of absence from LJ, and I just suddenly remembered, "Ooh, there was a person who said she was going to download the mood theme, and I wonder how it looks?" Though if you changed your mind, that's fine of course.)

You're cute for thinking I'm smart enough to hotlink something! I am so technologically challenged, I haven't even attempted to figure the mood theme out. I haven't been in any mood at all lately! I still very much want to use your theme and I promise to work on it next week. You can give me hints if you'd like. I need all the help I can get!

(I just remembered you again.) Hee, glad you like the icon. It's his aardvark that I'm certain he slept with when he was a little boy.

The mood theme is easy to figure out, but just time consuming. Oh! I know what I'll do...! I'll make a Mood Theme for Dummies page with all the links on it. Then it will be easy. :D

Ah, yes. I forget myself at times. Perhaps if you wrote a "Mood Theme for Great BIG Dummies" page I would catch on. No, doubtful.

Perhaps I should just friend you (I considered before, but it was out of the blue) as I have friended for far less than a love of Stephen Maturin.

I really should search for some Stephen icons, btw...
