Sundays. I love them.

We went to church this morning and heard a great sermon about Phillipians 4:4-9 . Good word. Something that I needed to hear, when I needed to hear it. God's awesome like that. We had lunch with two other families, afterwards. It' was a lovely time ( Read more... )

First, I totally want biscuits now. Maybe after I take my mom to the doctor tomorrow. If there's time before I absolutely, positively, must get to work.

Second, your conversation with Ethan reminds me of one I had with a friend several years back. I don't even remember what I asked her, but the reply was, "Not since I sold my goats." *headtilt* Huh? I decided that for awhile that I was how I was going to answer all questions directed my way that I didn't feel like answering.

"Kate, have you seen the remote?" "Not since I sold my goats."

"Kate, have you been to Disneyworld?" "Not since I sold my goats."

It's an all purpose conversation stopper.

I love that. I mean, how do you even respond to that?!

I love Philippians 4:4-9. Definitely one of my favorite scriptures. And yes, God is awesome like that. :)

Wash pigs? ROTFLOL! Did they really wash pigs? WHY? *shakes head* I needed a good laugh on this dreary Monday morning. :)

They did, indeed, wash pigs. His friend, Sadie, shows pigs through 4H as a hobby.

I like her. But I don't have a lot in common with her.

Everything in moderation. Except for heroin. Or Apartheid.

Hilarious. My new slogan. Made me snort this ugly sounding laugh out loud. Sleeping Jay wasn't impressed. Lol.

(Also - I loved Ender's Game. I first read it in 6th grade and have read it several times since. And I've made Scott read it as well... and he loved it too. Excellent selection for the book club. :-) )

Book cloud sounded interesting with the 7 bottles of wine. When is the next meeting? ;)

Just him calling up from wherever, asking to do ANYthing, away from me, was something to get used to. Gosh!

YUM! biscuits, Carrie!

The calling and being away gets more and more frequent. :/

It's heartbreaking... *nods* :/

That was supposed to say CLUB... not cloud. *boinks head* Looks like I didn't even need the wine, huh? ;)

Sounds like young Ethan's friend Sadie is a kindred 4-H spirit. :D
