Ah, I was a little confused for a second. I saw the ACE Soda cans and thought it could be a cross-over with a Brewery (Kind of like how Goose Island sells sodas and beer.) But, I was wrong. :P I was thinking of Acme, who uses a similar, post-WW2 advertising style.

I too was sucked into buying an ACE energy drink due to their supersexy design. Item #13 on the List of Way to Get Rob To Buy Your Crap is "stick a hot, retro-style pinup girl on the package." It works every time.

Of course, I don't really remember the drink being all that enjoyable but I know that if given the choice, I will pick an ACE can up every time. I'm such a sucker.

Totally--we're both suckers. I ought to know better--I design and market for a living. But I saw the can last night and was all like "OMG TEH LAAAAAAIDEEEEEZ! TEH BOMBZ! OMG! JUICE!"
