Hisoka is sitting at the bar, sipping his third lime and soda with an extremely liberal dash of vodka, and beating the bar top lightly with his fingers in time to the (real or imaginary) music. He knows Ryuk is aloft, but he is not paying much attention.

Suddenly he is bopped right in the chest with a foam-rubber arrow, which bounces off him harmlessly. But he falls off the barstool in astonishment. Oof!

Perhaps before the arrow, or maybe after, Millicent sweeps up to the bar, not realizing that Hisoka is nearby. She's in the classic little black dress, though it's cut particularly low and hemmed high. She's hell on high heels.

Let us say Millicent arrives just before the arrow. Before she has time to notice him (assuming she was even going to, lol), he gets plunked.

He looks up from the floor and sees a vision of loveliness. "Morgaine of the Mansion!" he hails her. This was what he had called her at their first meeting.

She would have noticed him eventually, but his greeting makes it impossible to avoid in any case. Millicent glares at him. "You shouldn't even have Morgaine's name on your bloody tongue," she derides him.

Of course Jane is out and about on Valentine's day before she sees a floating nerf bow and arrow set around the bar.

"What the he-" Before she knows it, she's hit.

Millicent is here to prowl. She's itching to toy with someone, and though her plans with The Warden are coming along nicely, she's never been known for patience. And even if she can't find someone in immediacy, she can find potential victims for her Imperio scheme.

She slides onto a bar stool, wanting a drink in hand before she begins her survey.

Neville is tired from making flower bouquets all day, but it's a good kind of tired. He likes helping people.

And even if he's is unattached, or maybe all the more because of it, he still likes the idea of Valentine's Day, and he enjoys the bar. So of course, he'll show up, bottle of beer in hand, listening to the band. He knows not to eat any food laying around today, and he's safe from any magical snow since he's inside the Mansion, so he really thinks he's safe from any mischief.

A Nerf bow and arrow are so Muggle, they're completely foreign to him, so he's really confused when he feels the soft stroke of being hit.

It wasn't that Stark wasn't big on Valentine's Day, he simply had forgotten what day it was. Ryuk and the Nerf gun didn't seem to be doing any real harm so he was left alone. They're Nerf. They're not designed to hurt.

So he settles in at the bar with a beer of his own to people watch.

The Nerf arrow is lying at his feet, and he bends to pick it up, looking at it with puzzlement. He's holding it in his hand when he looks back up, his gaze settling on the man at the bar. And his heart melts into a warm and fuzzy puddle.

Stark is fairly oblivious to the look he's getting, but he does look over at the Nerf arrow the young man picks up... and then smiles absently at him before taking a pull of his beer.

Of course Mias is at the bar dressed in her Valentine's Day best. She really wants to see Light this holiday, but for now she's just enjoying herself.

Although she is wondering why Ryuk is wondering around with a bow and arrow set.

No bopping for her. Annnd a Ryuk would be <3.

Ryuk aaaaalmost takes aim at Misa, but decides against it: she's cute and he's sometimes wondered, if he had a physical body, if he'd have half a chance with her. Instead he grins at her, trying not to look too weird and likely failing, and hovers closer. "Hi there, Misa!"

Of course Ryuk doesn't look weird to Misa.

"Hi Ryuk! How you've been?"

"Pretty good, rockin' out with the band," he says, grinning. "How you been??"

Here's the nun bar-fly in a red dress. Sure Valentine day isn't really her thing, but she'll come out and support Death and The Maiden anytime. (Plus free booze and chocolate, who can argue with that?)

Still... What the fuck is a nerf bow and arrow set doing floating around here? Before she knows it, an arrow hits her square in the head.

"The Fuck!?" She may lower and shake her head a bit.

"Are you all right, ma'am?" a man's deep, polite voice asks. There's a hint of a mid-western accent in that voice; if she looks up, the gent it's attached to is fairly easy on the eyes, dark haired and dark-skinned in a middle eastern way, slightly middle-aged, but robust and healthy.

Of course soon as Eda raises her head the arrow has taken effect. Jacquel is the most handsome man she's ever seen.

"I'm fine... so are you, baby."

He smirks a little. "I suppose I do clean up nicely," he says, self-deprecatingly. Jacquel had just come down for a beer and to see just what the band is like (he's no stranger to bands with death-themed names, and while in his mind, it's a bit cliche, he's not so stodgy that he's going to judge a band by its moniker). "Do you need a hand up?" he asks, offering a hand to her.
